Summary of Terrass'' Hotel
The Terrass'' hotel is well known in Paris for its amazing panoramic views of the French capital. I had already been several times for drinks on their rooftop terrace as there's always a lively atmosphere and the cocktails are really good. That's why it was so nice to collaborate with a hotel I was already familiar with in Paris.
The hotel originally opened in the early 20th century and was already popular at the time amongst artists and writers. It went through a major renovation a few years ago and the result is wonderful - a refined and modern hotel which still maintains its heritage and emblematic facade and terrace. It's in walking distance form all the iconic monuments of Montmartre, such as the Sacré-Coeur, the Montmartre Cemetery and the Place du Tertre.
We were welcomed by very friendly personnel at reception and we stayed in the Studio d'Artiste Eiffel. The bed was a queen-size and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had all necessary bathroom amenities - L'Occitane bath creams, shampoos, etc. The best part of course was our own little private balcony with a beautiful view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. We ordered room service for dinner and again for breakfast and everything was delicious and nicely served. We did have two minor hiccups - the bottled water not being changed from the previous clients and the TV remote controller not working - but the staff were every efficient and replaced these items without delay.
With the abundance of lovely hotels in Paris, it can be a bit hard to choose the right one but if you're looking for a hotel in the heart of Montmartre, with outstanding views and great food and service, then I think the Terrass'' Hotel is the right choice for you. In addition, the prices are reasonable and correspond to the quality of the service and installations.
