My favourite fun spots in London to have a drink


Here is a list of the places I love going to in London for a glass of wine or a cocktail. Most of them are also restaurants if you want to go there for dinner. I've been out so many times in London and love the nightlife energy overall but these ended up being my personal favourites for going out with my friends. Do bear in mind that most bars in London close between 12-2am so you won't want to get there too late and miss the fun…

London Bars

Sketch - Conduit Street, Mayfair: for its quirky lavish decor and amazing cocktails. They have three different bars and two fancy restaurants. Dress code: chic

Momo - Heddon Street, Mayfair: for it's beautiful Moroccan design and lively atmosphere. It's also a restaurant if you fancy some delicious Moroccan cuisine. Dress code: chic

OXO Tower -Barge House Street, Waterloo: for its spectacular views over the Thames and the City of London. Dress code: causal /chic

Sexy Fish - Berkeley Square, Mayfair: for being THE place to be at the moment - fun, fashionable and great cocktails. Dress code: chic

Gordon's Wine Bar - Villiers Street, Embankment: for its unique setting in old stone cellars, lively atmosphere and nice wines. Dress code: causal

Jak's - King's Road, Chelsea: for its unique industrial setting and fun ambiance - perfect place to have drinks and a dance - closes at midnight. Dress code: causal/chic

Beach Blanket Babylon - Ledbury Road, Notting Hill: for its beautiful stylish design, lively atmosphere and ideal location. Dress code: causal/chic

Coya - Piccadilly, Mayfair: for its amazing cocktails, chic ambiance and delicious Peruvian food if you fancy a bit to eat. Dress code: chic

Mr. Foggs - Bruton Lane, Mayfair: for its unique quirky decor and outstanding cocktails (most interesting variety of cocktails in London)- very British! Dress code: causal/chic
