The 10 most instagrammable places in Paris
With Paris being such a beautiful city, there are so many places where you can take “Instagrammable” pictures. From fashion bloggers and travel bloggers to professional photographers, everyone finds Paris to be extremely photogenic. Some spots have become extremely popular on Instagram and these are the ones I'm sharing with you (thanks to some lovely inspiring ladies) to keep in mind next time you're in Paris...
1. Palais Royal
The inner courtyard of the Palais Royal is a lovely famous spot for photos. You have the iconic black and white columns, the middle passage way and the sculpture of the silver spheres balls to choose from…
2. La Maison Rose
We girls absolutely love pink and I guess it’s why this restaurant has become so popular on Instagram. Montmartre is already renowned for being one of the most charming neighborhoods in Pairs and La Maison Rose is the cherry on the cake.
3. Printemps Rooftop
Instagram loves the Eiffel Tower but instead of a clear shot upfront Instagrammers are increasingly preferring to capture it from a distance and mixing it up with some local cafes and bistros or from a rooftop. The rooftop of the Printemps department store is perfect for that.
4. Alexandre III Bridge
This is the most extravagant bridge in the French capital and is a popular location of choice amongst fashion bloggers. I guess it’s because the stunning bridge just enhances the photo of you in a beautiful way…
5. Blue Doors on the Place Vendôme
The Place Vendôme is the most majestic square in Paris. The uniformity of its elegant architecture and style makes it so attractive; especially the big blue wooden doors of the world’s greatest jewelers such as Van Cleef and Arpels, Chaumet and Cartier. You tend to see a lot of these kinds of photos during the Paris Fashion Weeks...
6. Trocadero Steps
This has to be the most Instagrammable place in Paris. Since starting my blog and being active on Instagram, I have seen so many beautiful pictures of people either standing or sitting by these famous steps at Trocadero with the Eiffel Tower in the background. Early morning is the best time of the day to capture a lovely soft pink sky.
7. Houses on the Rue Crémieux
This street has become well-known now on Instagram. In the middle of not much and not far from the Gare de Lyon is this charming street with its pastel-coloured houses. You can either have your photo taken with the whole street or just focusing on one particular house. I guess it depends on your colour mood of the day…
8. Louvre Pyramid
Of course you will want a photo by one of the most important museums in the world, especially with its outstanding glass pyramid. However, it’s also one of the most touristic places in Paris so if you want to try to get a picture of just yourself then you will have to get up really early. Otherwise you will have a lot of cropping and editing to do…
9. Parisian Carousel
When you think of Paris I’m sure the image of a carousel comes to your mind. Its magical feel is undeniable. Relive your childhood memories and get the perfect shot on some of the most beautiful carousels in Paris like this one which is next to the Eiffel Tower.
There are endless spots in Montmartre to get those perfect shots but one of my favourites, and the one that was my first most successful photo on Instagram, is here sitting on a railing at the top of one of the staircases that lead up to the Sacré-Coeur.
